Kevin Barber, M.D.
Dr. Barber is a board certified ophthalmologist who is committed to building organizations offering high quality and efficient health care in the outpatient surgical setting. As a surgeon, ambulatory surgery center developer, and global health leader, Dr. Barber brings a unique and informed perspective to novel models improving healthcare delivery. He is also widely regarded for his clinical expertise and his commitment to advancing eye care domestically and internationally. Driven by a passion for restoring sight to those less fortunate, Dr. Barber serves as President of ACE Global, where he works to improve the lives of individuals worldwide affected by preventable or treatable vision impairment.
He completed his ophthalmology residency at Emory University following an internship at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine. Dr. Barber earned his Doctor of Medicine degree with Highest Honors from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his undergraduate education at Lee University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Barber enjoys travel, cycling, paddle boarding, surfing, and spending time with his wife and children.
